This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement across the community. From the one-by-one unveiling of newcomers before the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive designs that highlight their traits, one idea naturally: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. Always empathetic – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it became consciousness through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always putting on a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly little entertainer” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the identical vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Mega Absol, they often are.
